Facelift
Alice in Chains' first album made its debut in the summer of 1990 and immediately starting setting "the sound" of the early '90s. Dark and murky with a strong sense of melody, Facelift showed that AiC was a band with tremendous promise. The album has since gone to sell over 2 million copies.
